I had glanced at it and felt I'd read related material in Alfred McCoy's book, &lt;a href="http://tinyurl.com/3dvhoa" rel="nofollow"&gt;A Question of Torture&lt;/a&gt;. There, McCoy has &lt;a href="http://tinyurl.com/386rk2" rel="nofollow"&gt;a disturbing passage&lt;/a&gt; on how post-WWII the US had recruited German scientists involved in Nazi physiological and psychological experiments. That is we drew directly on Nazi expertise to develop the science behind US psychological torture.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Now that I read Sullivan more closely, I see that he goes into greater detail than I remember McCoy did about the German uses of "enhanced" techniques. It is absolutely chilling to think about McCoy and Sullivan together.</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Benjamin T.
