I'm glad what I wrote was helpful. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;To understand more about the nature of US detention, interrogation and torture, I highly recommend the PHR report, &lt;a href="http://www.physiciansforhumanrights.org/library/report-2005-may.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;Break Them Down&lt;/a&gt; and Alfred McCoy's book, &lt;em&gt;A Question of Torture&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I also have other pieces on the subject.
